Travel and Hotel information

Light scattering by aggregates of nano partices or aggregares positined on a surface is of interest in various kinds of scientific fields and applications such as plasmonics, environmental physics, biosensors, scanning near-field optical microscopy (SNOM), surface enhanced Raman scattering (SERS), defect characterization,  electron-energy-loss spectroscopy (EELS) and evanescent wave scattering.

At the workshop we like to discus the latest theoretical approaches and computational tools to simulate light scattering by aggregates of nano particles on plane interfaces taking into account particle - surface scattering interaction. The latest findings in the field will be presented and discussed.
