Code is mainly intended for accelerator design, but with its time-domain solver plane wave electromagnetic scattering by a three-dimentional dielectric or metallic objects can also by calculated in the near field. ARGUS documentation is available by WWW from SAIC.

This 2D-FDTD code has been developed by Dave Rossi.

The zip file available from the local server contains source code, documentation, examples, and executable files for DOS/Windows and Linux. Written as a tool to look at planar optical waveguide structures. The code requires no graphics either Windows or X-windows to run, but some type of ascii data viewer is required to look at the output files. An input data checking and geometry checking program for the input file is also included in the zip file.

This code can be used to model wave propagation in urban environments in 2D. It is based on the Transmission Line Matrix (TLM) method.
